Tapping Into Source Energy

“Not all who wander are lost” ✌🏼🌲....some times it’s important to just take a good, long moment and be still; to breathe, to take in the marvelousness that surrounds you; to tap into source energy and allow it to fill you with light, love and truth. I’ve been on a journey these past few months....seeking to find truth and to do whatever it takes to live in joy. I may not have it all figured out yet but I can feel in my bones that something big is just around the bend. I’m so grateful—even in the confusion and wonderment—for the massive amount of light and knowledge I’ve been taking into this soul of mine. I feel beyond blessed for the trials I have lived through—I am starting to really see them for what they are and how without them my life wouldn’t be nearly as beautiful. Being messy is beautiful; from the ashes we become refined. Isn’t nature the perfect example of this?? It dies and it grows, it rises and it falls...it is constantly going through cycles of change, decay, growth, ugliness, and beauty. We would do well to sit in it and learn all the truths it’s waiting to offer us. Get lost, WANDER, rediscover your truth. This planet has everything we could ever want or need monetarily, spiritually, emotionally, physically; everything we want is already in existence we just need to take time and tap into it and manifest it. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ» #foodforthought#signingoff #midnightramblings

Be Kind

Something I’m trying to teach my children and even teach myself. The more we practice kindness the more it becomes second nature to us. The other night my son told me that a kid at his school who has been bullying other kids, started arguing with him and pushed him down; he started to cry. He didn’t retaliate in anger, he simply walked away and allowed an adult to handle the situation. I was so proud of him. Practicing kindness in situations like that is hard and sometimes it doesn’t even seem like the right thing to do but as I told him, we never know what someone else is going through and it may just be our one act of kindness that changes their heart and inspires them to want to be kind. Kindness is one simple, yet impactful way that we can serve others. Make it your mission to spread kindness today.

Comparisons Rob Joy

This is such a big problem nowadays. And it applies to people that we DO know! How awesome would it be if we spent more time embracing our own lives and tapping into our own gifts and potential instead of wishing we had more or were more? The reality is NO ONE has it all! Every “perfect” picture or story is anything but perfect. No one has it all together, no one has it all figured out. We all share one commonality as human beings on this earth: we are all flawed; we may not share the same flaws but we all struggle with something (and there is beauty in that struggle—but that’s for another post πŸ˜). We are losing way too much time with the one shot in life that we’ve been given—getting caught up in relentless comparisons. The real introspective question we need to be asking is, “if I wasn’t bombarded with the daily ‘high reel’ would I even want that life? Would I even envy the millionth trip, purchase, experience that so and so had?” I think we lose ourselves in the comparisons—we get away from what we value, what our goals and dreams are, and we end up creating even bigger problems in our lives by changing ourselves into creatures we don’t even recognize anymore. We attach ourselves onto someone else’s spending habits, way of living, way of giving, way of loving, way of seeing the world, when in reality it’s not even really what we want or who truly we are! So the next post you see that makes you feel like crap about your own life, turn off your phone and start getting in touch with the beautiful imperfectly perfect life and person that you are! Because there is only one you; the world needs YOU, AND you’re a freakin rockstar ✌🏼

Choose JOY!

I’m grateful that someone reminded me of this the other day, it seems simple but sometimes it can be the hardest thing to achieve if we aren’t consciously aware of our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Living without joy robs us of our health, prolongs our goals, and delays us living the fullest most beautiful life we were destined to live. Even if it requires letting go of people, things, or habits that suck the joy right out of me, Today and everyday I CHOOSE JOY! #choosejoy
